about phlip arima
Phlip Arima has worked in the arts all of his adult life. He is best known as a poet, but also writes fiction. He has collaborated with visual artists, dancers, musicians and film makers. His work has been adapted to video by Vision Television and to stage by Neighbourhood Dance Works in association with RCA Theatre.
He is a former Artistic Director of the Art Bar Poetry Series, was co-organizer and host of The Basement reading series and was one of the rotating hosts for the highly successful Syntactic Sundays reading series.
Phlip was born and raised and continues to live in Toronto, Canada.
